Learn more about FIRST Lego League at the Enrichment Fair

Current TRES 3rd and 4th Graders:
Are you interested in learning about teamwork, problem solving, robotics, and just plain having fun?

FIRST Lego League will startup September 2015!  Please join us at the Enrichment Fair in the Gymnasium for more information!
FIRST Lego League is an amazing STEM program offered by the TRES PTA for 4th and 5th graders where they learn teamwork, research, presentation skills, marketing, robotics, programming, strategic thinking, and problem solving to name a few!  The program starts immediately following the beginning of the new school year.  If you are interested in learning more about the program please come at any time during the Enrichment fair (beginning at 6:30pm on Thursday May 14th) to the Gymnasium.
This year’s challenge is called “Trash Trek”, where the team members can find ways for us to better manage trash!  We will be learning how to work as a team, doing research and coming up with a unique solution to a problem with trash, learning presentation and marketing skills, building and programming our very own Lego Robot, and demonstrating what we learned at an exciting tournament!

School Events:

TRES Enrichment Fair -Thursday, 5/14 6:30-8:30 An evening of recognition for TRES students and families.

We’ve been getting inquiries about the art show and to clarify, this is a school fundraiser not the PTA’s Original Works fundraiser.  Look for that program to return this fall.
