Walking Wednesday 10-21-15

The student with the most laps in the school this week is fifth grader Nik Anna with 10 laps!!!   Kindergartener Pascal Crosley and fourth grader Jack Canos both ran 9 laps!  Great job boys!

The class that wins the Golden Shoe Award for the week is Mrs. Palczewski’s class with a total of 77 laps! Mrs. Laserna’s class was close behind with 76 laps.  This just shows that every lap counts!

The total number of laps for the school this week was 1,115, which equals 279 miles!!!

5th Grade Picnic in the Park

Our “top dog” Retrievers enjoyed many fun, fifth-grade activities on June 6th, thanks to the coordination efforts of Kathy Wildy. Whether it be their class t-shirt keepsake, or stories from their off-site Cedar Lane picnic, students leave with “TREaSured” memories of their last elementary school year.  013

Praise for 1st Grade Young Authors Program

Our first graders debuted their original story books at the June 6th Young Authors’ Tea.  We send special thanks to their “publishers.”  Dori Capodanno and her team of volunteers introduced innovative ideas this year for the annual TRES event. Boy reading

Merci, Xie Xie, Gracias!

We just can’t say “thank you” enough, no matter what the language, to our TRES community for a fabulous International Night! Special thanks to Committee Chair Natasha Moulten-Levy for her coordination and planning efforts. Thanks to all parents, students and staff who volunteered at the event. Also, thanks to the families and children who brought food, performed, shared artifacts and attended the event. school_international
